Creswell Middle School LEAP 2025 Reminders - 5th and 6th Grade LEAP Testing is scheudled for April 29th - May 9th. LEAP 2025 State Testing is a manadatory requirement for all Louisiana public school students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 337-942-4892.
As this years' after school tutoring program has come to an end, we would like to share our final newsletter and expressions of gratitude for all staff, personnel, bus drivers, parents and students for your continued support.
CMS Parents and Guardians: Please Note All School Fees including Student Registration Fees must be paid prior to attending any school sponsored Field Trips and/or School Events. Please call the school or visit your J-Campus Student Account Center for up to date student fee balances. Any student's regestration fee or any additional fees owed to any school will follow a student until graduation.

You may come by school on the LEO STREET Entrance (MACA side) between 10am and 2pm to pick up your child's order. 5th Grade Parents: Our 5th grade students had their D.A.R.E. Program today at 1:30pm in the cafeteria. We apologize that we could not invite you to our program due to the lack of parking space and facility space. Our WiFi is too spotty for us to do a zoom or Google Meet link in the cafeteria. The program was supposed to be a citywide program held at the Civic Center in the Fall for all parents to attend, but that changed and was out of our control. We made lemons out of lemonade, pushed through with a program at school when the officers could make it. We will have plenty of pictures on our school's Facebook page. Our 5th graders had a blast! They are allowed to wear their D.A.R.E. blue shirts tomorrow, Thursday, April 17, 2025 with uniform bottoms.
The last day of after school tutoring will be Wednesday, April 16th. We are finishing up with motivational guest speakers to help us close out the week and special treats for students each day. We plan to finish strong!
Creswell Middle School Parents and Guardians: Dads & Kids has sponsored our school with another Positive Morning- LEAP Edition. Students are allowed to wear a Creswell Middle School Spirit Shirt and Uniform Bottoms to school on Monday, April 14, 2025. We had a great, fun positive time during their las t visit. Our students had a wonderful experience being greeted by so many positive community leaders and friends. We are looking forward to another great positive morning!

Creswell Middle School Spring Dance- is this eveing Friday. April 11, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm in the school's cafeteria. Tickets @ the door are $7.00. Concession will be sold! Pictures will be taken. No Cell Phones Allowed.On Campus! The school office will be accessible for any student need the phone. A message will go out at 7pm reminding parents that the dance ends at 7pm. Parents may begin lining up for pick up at 7:15 pm. Please be on time to pick up your child/children.

CMS Parents and Guardian: The Creswell Middle School Spring Band and Choir Concert will be held this evening, Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 6:15 pm in the cafeteria. If your child is in band or choir, please have them at school at 5:45 pm to prepare and warm-up. A letter was sent home prior with all band and choir students about this evening's Spring Concert.
