Attention PBES parents: Instead of sending money for Jean Day on Friday, students are asked to bring in a bag of candy ON FRIDAY to be able to wear jeans, boots and/or a hat. Please do not send any candy containing nuts or nut products.
We will do this for the next three Fridays. The candy will be used to give out for Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 28th.
PBES: On Thursday of this week, October 6th, students may wear a sports team shirt or jersey with uniform bottom to kickoff our Positive Behavior Support (PBIS) program. See the attached flyer.

Every October, people show support for all affected by breast cancer. SLP will be recognizing employees who battled or are battling breast cancer. Today we are celebrating one of our very own, Mrs. Patricia Montgomery. #breastcancerawareness

4th grade students completed an activity today discovering & learning about animal competition in certain ecosystems. Students were given a role as an animal & had to compete for their food, water, & shelter. They had a blast completing this activity, and discovering what their animals need to survive.

PBES 4H Club needs everyoneâs help! One of our club goals is to collect can tabs and donate them to the Ronald McDonald house at the end of the school year. During 4H week (Oct 3-7), members will begin picking up collected can tabs from students who have turned them in to their homeroom teacher. Please begin collecting your can tabs and turning them in. We appreciate all the support in this endeavor.
PBE: Spirit wear was distributed to students who ordered at the beginning of September. Please check with your child to verify they received their items.
PBE 4th graders worked together in groups to solve multi step word problems!
Mrs. Krystal and Mrs. Campbellâs 1st grade science friends were excited to be predators today! They used their bird beaks to find food (M&Mâs) that was camouflaged in their habitat (Skittles)!
