Town of Port Barre basketball registration has been extended until December 10. Registration forms went home last week. You may return to school or drop off at Town Hall.

Tomorrow is Candy Cane Tuesday. Students may wear red and white attire with blue jeans.

Tomorrow is Holiday Headgear Monday. Students are allowed to holiday headgear with their school uniforms.

Learning Beyond the Bell (LBB): This is the last week for LBB. There will be no LBB the week of Dec 13-17. LBB will resume on January 10.

Congratulations to our PreK program for achieving an Excellent rating for the 20-21 school year. At tonight’s board meeting, we were awarded a banner to display at school. Thank you to Mrs. Stelly, Mrs. Carla, Mrs. Malveaux, Mrs. Krystle, Mrs. Shelby, Mrs. Kendi, Gigi, and our Angel in heaven Mrs. Vicky….Job well done and co to us to be the rock stars y’all are.

Kona Ice will be on campus tomorrow. Don’t forget those refillable cups.

We are participating in the FoodNet food drive. Bring in any unexpired good or non-perishables food items. We will deliver them on Dec. 7. Thank you for your support.

We’ve been GOBBLED! ❤️ Mrs. Keys’ class ended the month of November with a thankful heart after receiving treats from a secret someone.

Shoutout to a job well done by PBE 4-H club members who recited the Pledge of Allegiance at Port Barre’s Lighting of the Bridge Event which kicks off the Christmas season. 🎄

Fundraiser packets were due today. Tomorrow (by noon) is the latest we can accept late orders. Forms must be mailed tomorrow afternoon. Picture Proofs were sent home today. Orders will be taken until Wednesday, Dec. 8. PB Basketball forms also went home today. Please return as soon as possible for us to return completed applications to the town.

Learning Beyond the Bell resumes today. It is from 3:10 - 5:10. Please arrive promptly if your child is a car rider. Buses leave as soon as students load.

If you are interested in picking up lunch for your child while we are on virtual, please contact PBHS school lunchroom at 1-337-777-1252 before 9:30 AM each morning. Parents can begin picking up meals at 11:00 AM. Thanksgiving lunch will be served on Thursday, November 18.

Good afternoon everyone, After communicating with the Mayor, there is no change in the water pressure in the PB community. We will continue with vitual instruction Monday, November 15, 2021 Teachers and staff will report to school for the delivery of instruction . Students attending SLATS,  CAPS, BIOMED,  and WCTC will attend class as normal. 

According to town officials, Port Barre water system will be up to 100% pressure by Monday. We will return to in person learning starting Monday, November 15. Please have your student return his/her chromebook and hotspot on Monday.
