
A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB CENTRAL OFFICE:
The town of Port Barre continues to experience water pressure issues, therefore, we have decided to continue to provide online instruction to Port Barre Elementary, Middle, and High School students for the remainder of this week. Teachers and staff will report to school for the delivery of instruction . Students attending SLATS, CAPS, BIOMED, and WCTC will attend class as normal.

Good Afternoon,
The town of Port Barre has reported that the low water pressure issue has not yet been resolved. As a result, we have decided to continue to provide online instruction to Port Barre Elementary, Middle, and High School students tomorrow, November 10, 2021.
Teachers and staff will report to school for the delivery of instruction .
Students attending SLATS, CAPS, BIOMED, and WCTC will attend class as normal.

The district has announced the closure of PBES and PBHS until further notice due to lack of water pressure. Buses are en route to pick up students to bring them back home. Car riders may be picked up as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

PBES: Learning Beyond the Bell is cancelled this afternoon due to the water pressure in town.

Bus 51-Kim Ortego-is NOT running Friday, November 12. Please make the necessary arrangements for your child to and from school. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Bus 528-Mr. Doucet-is running this week.

Bus 24 is not running tomorrow morning. Mrs, Chrystal will pick up as she has been. Bus 24 WILL run tomorrow afternoon.

There is no Learning Beyond the Bell on Fridayâs. Have a great weekend.

Sacred Heart of Jesus in Port Barre will be hosting Coats for Kids this Sunday, November 17 from 3:00-5:00 pm at St. Joseph Hall. Anyone in need of a coat can attend.
